Ampack Guarantee
Ampack has set themselves the goal of significantly improving this unsatisfactory situation as far as tradesmen are concerned by offering a tailor-made warranty. What good is a guarantee to the tradesman, when it merely replaces the material? Rather he needs full-scale protection for the entire duration of his contractual guarantee to the builder! Furthermore, in an emergency, the complaint must be handled quickly and efficiently. With Ampack, that's what he gets now!
The noncontractual warranty
As Ampack AG operates through dealers, one link, sometimes two links in the warranty chain must be skipped. It therefore becomes a guarantee made to an indirect customer, with whom there is no direct contract for delivery and thus the warranty provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations do not apply.
Ampack’s guarantee is property related, as the tradesman only needs protection for the duration of his own warranty to the builder, after which it lapses. The determining factor is the date of final acceptance.
10 year guarantee!
Ampack’s noncontractual guarantee to the tradesman extends to cover the full warranty period given by the tradesman to the builder, up to a maximum of 10 years after the supply of the products by Ampack. It covers both replacement material and the removal and installation costs together with any consequential damages. The tradesman can call on Ampack’s comprehensive guarantee throughout the entire duration of his warranty obligation to the builder, even if the building acceptance was five years after the supply of materials by Ampack.

In an emergency, the tradesman can contact Ampack’s highly trained consultants directly, who process the claim quickly and competently according to an ISO-certified process. Ampack has taken out international insurance with the Allianz Group to cover legitimate claims.
Ampack’s guarantee gives tradesmen the right to make claims at any time within the warranty period to cover deficiencies and failure to meet promised characteristics. Any defects that are discovered subsequently do not have to be registered immediately on discovery. This is a crucial advantage for the tradesman and a real customer benefit!
